It started with a simple comment in February 2024.Jana had just walked into the room, and Adam happened to look up at the exact right moment. She looked relaxed, natural but something about her caught him off guard. Without much thought, he said it:“You kinda look like Sydney Sweeney.”She rolled her eyes, but she smiled too. That was the start of something not fireworks, not a dramatic moment, just a shift. From then on, there was a different energy between them.They started noticing each other more. Little conversations turned playful. Their jokes leaned a little more flirty, their glances lingered longer. Adam had a way of making her laugh without trying too hard, and Jana had a way of throwing him off his usual cool just enough to keep him on his toes.It wasn’t a whirlwind romance it was a slow build. Comfortable, real.They texted randomly, shared songs, sent memes, then started hanging out more without making a big deal of it. Everyone around them could tell something was going on, but neither of them felt the need to label it yet.That changed in January 2025.From that point on, they were official. And everything just felt easier not because it changed who they were, but because it fit. They made space for each other’s lives, each other’s people. Both of their families welcomed each other in like they’d always been there.By summer, Adam started planning.There was a family vacation to North Carolina already in the works, and he knew this was the moment he wanted to take the next step with Jana.So, with Jana’s family's help, he planned the proposal!When the moment came, it wasn’t flashy.
